Beatitudes of Tenderness

Happy those who feel the permanent need to generate comfort through small gestures of closeness, tenderness and affection.

Happy those who are moved by the images that show pain, misery, hunger, war and who strive not to have their insides closed by the bonds of consumption, isolation and selfishness.

Happy those who have seen that justice and solidarity only continue to grow if accompanied by sensibility, delicacy, humanity and good humour.

Happy those who in the face of the harness of human treatment, offer kindness as the best remedy to get enmity out of human relations.

Happy those who feed with care and affection the work environment, the frontier of commitment, the dialogue with a neighbour, the depression of a best friend.

Happy those who feel excited every day by the beauty of a face, the kindness of a young person, an elderly woman’s advice, the embrace that gives warmth to the one that becomes stiff from the coldness of the oblivion that so much moves us away.

Happy those who share and offer with generosity tenderness to the furthest borders of the world, but do not forget to water their own heart with it.

Happy those who let themselves be educated by affectivity, caress, the vulnerability of those who feel inhabited by the strength of tenderness.
